AMERICAN FUNDAMENTALISTS on Russian television; Exhibit soon in Brussels and Berlin

(2/27/08) A clip of an interview with artist Joel Pelletier for Russian Television (with a full-sized reproduction of AMERICAN FUNDAMENTALISTS in the background) recently appeared on a one hour documentary television news program about American politics and religion entitled THE GOOD EMPIRE. The entire program, with English subtitles, has been split into 5 parts and posted on YouTube starting here. Joel appears towards the end of Part 3 (posted above).

The NATO "FUNDAMENTAL" exhibit, featuring works form numerous international atists including Joel's AMERICAN FUNDAMENTALISTS, is scheduling an exhibit in Berlin for July 2008. In the meantime, plans are being made to exhibit the painting in Brussels, Belgium in May-June 2008 (info to be posted when available).

AMERICAN FUNDAMENTALISTS is included in a 4-city European Art Exhibit "FUNDAMENTAL"
The Manchester, UK Arts collective Northern Arts Tactical Offensive has invited me to include my AMERICAN FUNDAMENTALIST painting in a one year, four city European art exhibit entitled Fundamental. The exhibit will include works on Fundamentalism throughout the world by artists from many countries. The opening night for the tour will take place on Saturday, 1 September 2007, 7pm at the Zion Arts Centre, Manchester, UK. I will be there to speak about the painting and fundamentalism in the United States (go to events for more).
